Understanding The Symbol
of God the Father

The Theta
The God Rules team has developed a sign or symbol for God The Father, using the Theta in the center of the fish sign below. Jesus himself said we should worship the Father in spirit and in truth. However, over the years the worship of God The Father has been exchanged in many cases for exclusive worship of Jesus the Son.


The Ichthus

The symbol for God is not new nor unique to Christianity. It has it's roots in the first century symbol known as The Ichthus (Greek word for "fish").

The symbol seen on many bumpers and tee shirts has developed over the years as the logo or sign for “Christian”. It finds it’s beginning in the first century as a secret symbol and through the years has become abbreviated and commercialized as seen above.

Let us not forget it was the Father who loved us so much that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life. God Rules!

Theou, that means "God".
