The Ichthus
The
symbol for God is not new nor unique to Christianity.
It has it's roots in the first century symbol known as
The Ichthus (Greek word for "fish").

The
symbol seen on many bumpers and tee shirts has developed
over the years as the logo or sign for “Christian”.
It finds it’s beginning in the first century as
a secret symbol and through the years has become abbreviated
and commercialized as seen above.
Let
us not forget it was the Father who loved us so much that
He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him will
have everlasting life. God Rules!
